2023 Orange Council for the Gifted Classroom Grant Information
Orange County Council for Gifted & Talented Education (OCC GATE) is pleased to announce OCC GATE Classroom Grants. This grant will facilitate a project designed to enhance GATE instruction in the classroom and will be awarded for a project that other funds do not or cannot finance (grants are up to $1,000 each). We especially enjoy funding proposals that involve unique experiences for gifted students. The OCC GATE Grant is only available to teachers from OCC GATE member districts.
Important dates:
Submissions must be received by Saturday, September 30, 2023 by 4:00 p.m. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Grant recipients will be notified via email by Friday, October 6, 2023.
Grants will be awarded on October 28, 2023 at the OCC GATE Conference.
Grant recipients will be required to send a brief article about their project and a few pictures that we will share with our OCC GATE Executive Board and highlight at the 2024 OCC GATE Conference. This article should be sent within 2 months of completion of your project and/or by August 23, 2024.
